miners in oil producing states),bush burning, human and animal wastes, and lots
more.

Land pollution is any activity which alters the
natural condition of land.Land can be polluted in a number of ways like illegal
dumping of refuse on a particular land, oil spillage, which is very common in the

endangering the creatures in there and rendering the water unsafe to use.

vehincles needlessly blasting their horns on the roads, and so on.
EFFECTS OF POLLUTION
Pollution, as stated in the definition, alters the
natural course of things in the environment. For instance, various industrial
activities like releasing toxic wastes tend to deplete the ozone layer.
Secondly, it can cause certain health hazards. For
instance, when wastes are flushed into streams and water bodies, people who use
it are at risk of cholera, and other water-borne diseases.
Conclusively, individuals in the society should imbibe
the culture of refraining from unfriendly acts that can make the environment
unsafe for us to live in.
